Felix has been attached to our Peloquin name (my mother's maiden name). However it was thought that the full last name was Peloquin Dit Felix. Story has it that half the brothers took Felix as a last name and the others took Peloquin. They migrated through Canada and found themselves in Chippewa Falls, WI. Many French came during the mid to late 1800's for the logging industry. I don't know if this has helped any. I'm trying to research this line as well.
