Dear John,This is the information I have at this time. Frances Pember, Married James Davies Nov/24/1853 Hay Parish Church. No name for father. Looked at Hay baptism records, and Found Frances Ann baptised. 1826. No name of Mother or Father. Just an incomplete entry. There seems to be an entry for Harriot Pember Baptised.feb/15/1826. Mother Ann Pember single. Frances and James Davies, lived in Hay. On the 1861 census. The family lived in Chain Alley. James born Cusop. Frances in Hay Brec with thier Five children also living there was James's Mother-in-law, Ann Lewis. Who has got to be Ann Pember. Ann married James Lewis 1833 Hay.On my Gr. Gr, grandmother's Birth certificate Frances Davies was Formerly Pember. So far as can see Frances Mother was not married when she had Harriot And Frances. Vicky Harding N. Z. has been a great help, but I seem to be at a dead end.I have read your messages on the Pember forum. If you have any information that can help me sort out the Pember line I would be really pleased. As you can see I am new at this game. Kind regards. Babs Reynolds.
