I will copy it here just in case yo didn't. I would be most interested to know about your PEMBER in Stepney and you also said you have them going back to Herefordshire which is where most of my mother's ancestors came from as well.

Nice to hear from you, I suspect there is likely to be some connection with my John PEMBER .
In the 1881 census he says he was born in London and I think I have him and a few sisters christened in the Stepney area.
Ann PEMBER chr 10 Apr 1814 St Mary Whitechapel ,Stepney , father Phillip mother Sarah.
I will tell you what I have so far.
John PEMBER son of Phillip PEMBER and Sarah chr 9 June 1811 St Mary's.
For some reason John Left London and lived in Glasbury. There he married Jane DAVIES and it seems she had a child out of wedlock .
Marriage of John PEMBER and Jane DAVIES on 28 Sept 1833 witnesses Steven BOWEN and Elizabeth KINSEY.in Glasbury
Children of Jane and John PEMBER
1) David Davies
2) Ann PEMBER 14 Feb 1835 Glasbury died 1916 Crickhowell
3) Jane 1837?
4) Mary 8 Dec 1838 Altrich Glasbury

Right next door was John Pember ADDIS's parents.
I have photos of the houses called the Pendre in Crickhowell where my Great grandparents lived. I is possible they built this row of houses for their retirement .I have Jane and John PEMBER in the 1861 census .Jane was listed as a cook in the home of a Mr Tennant a landscape painter in Lowes.
I look forward to a reply.
