Some of my family members have been trying to trace the Peņa side of our family as far back as we can. We know that we have direct ancestry to Spain and that we may have ended up in the Caribbean around the time or right after the Spanish expulsion in 1492. The family eventually settled near the Santiago area. If anyone knows anything about this family or their origins, the information would be appreciated. Thanks
