J- I am working on Pendarvis in LA and following it back to Pike County MS. I have so far found that my gggg grdfather is shown on the 1820 census for Pike County to have been born in SCarolina. His grdson stated also in a letter that he was born there, having married and partially raised his family there before moving to MS. This is William Pen. dob between 1775 and 1794,and married Catherine Zeigler. One of their sons was James (1814-?) If you come across anything more, will you get back with me, Please? I am also trying to find out more about William, as I have been told his father was a William also, and that he married an Indian woman. It is family lore and I would like to find out fact. Good luck with yours.

Teri Vinson
