Linda,

Thanks for the reply. I am looking for Catherine Pendaris (probably Pendarvis, but is spelled Pendaris on marriage record) who married Asa Rutland in Marion Co, Ms, 1814. I can't seem to fit her. Census records show she was b about 1795 (she is listed as 55 on 1850 Covington Co, Ms census, a widow). The marriage record does not show a consent so it leaves the possibility her age is wrong. The census does indicate she was b in SC.

Emfingers married into my Ezelle line, in Jefferson and Franklin Cos, Ms, in the mid to late 1800's. I have not researched this line, but Allen Emfinger married Sally Ezelle, early 1890's in Franklin Co, Ms. They died in Gilbert, La and are buried in Oakley Cemetery, Gilbert.
