Case in Chancery, 1819, Pendarvis
Posted by: J. Bernice Robinson Date: June 29, 2001 at 23:21:09

In a microfilmed index to Chancery Court cases, in S. C.,1819, I found the following names of people who had filed a case exparte: Josiah Pendarvis, Thomas and Catherine Rumph, and John, Jacob, and Margaret Inabnet. Although they were listed separately in the index, all were marked as case #41, indicating to me that all were filing together. Though they were listed in the index, someone else's case had been microfilmed as #41 in the actual court records. Has anyone found a court case brought by these people? If so, what is the connection or relationship between these people? And what did their case entail?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
J. Bernice Robinson
