Hi Bernice,

The manumission document that you requested can be found in the Charleston District Mortgages for the period including 1734. I believe there are two films that cover that period, with the later film including the manumission document. The mortgage books included documents that often had nothing to do with actual mortgages. All of the children are mentioned by name except for Elizabeth, who I imagine was born after the manumission. Also, the children are listed in the same order as in the will, with the exception of Mary and Thomas, whose positions are reversed.
