Hello Randy,
Thank you so much for your replies to my three latest posts. You always seem to have answers to my questions and I appreciate so much your willingness to communicate and share your research.

In your explanation of the two John Pendarvises, it is also my understanding that John "Siah" is the son of Josiah, son of Thomas. I know there was another John as head of household, 1800, and listed on same page as Thomas Pendarvis' widow Elizabeth, J. (Joseph)Pendarvis, and Thomas Pendarvis. He had a son aged 0-10, and 1 male, 16 to 26, himself over 45, 2 daughters 0-10, and a wife over 45. It would seem this is the only John Pendarvis the proper place and age to be father of the children you name. My question is, whose son was he?

On Bethia and John May, from a book we picked up a copy of a page somewhere, probably Salt Lake City Mormon Library, that gives information about the May-Peter Stokes-Raysor family Cemetery. Number 8 was Eliza Eleanor May, wife of Dr. John May. She died the 11th of Sept. 1847, aged 22 years, 5 months and 3 days. I suspect she is the mother of his two young children listed in 1850. Bethia may have only been a person employed to care for his babies while he tended his practice. But I have always suspected there was a connection there somewhere as well, but have no idea how it would be.

Again, Thank you for your reply to my queries. Bernice
