Hi, was just delighted to get your message. I've seen your name and messages in genforum with lots of Pendarvis info. I am a real novice at this!!!! I recently posted a note about James P. Johnson and was so pleased to get a follow up. Johnson is such a hard name to pinpoint. I show in notes from many years ago that I wrote in longhand, William and Mary Mays.. Their daughter was Mercer Ann Wright b Oct. 30, 1830. Her daughter was Josephine Augusta Wright b June 6, 1852 d Feb 13, 1901, m. Samuel Washington Ivey b Dec 11, 1851 d. Jan 7, 1929 m. Dec 28, 1871. They had 12 children. One was my grandmother, Annie Brown Ivey (Johnson) b Dec. 21, 1875 M James Walker Johnson Oct. 17, 1897 d. June 18, 1970 in Waynesboro, Ga and buried at Union.
My Johnson roots are in Thompson, Ga. and many are buried at Union Cemetary at the Union Baptist Church close by. Does this help
