I have found a Nancy Hope Married to a William Pendarvis. They had a son William J Pendarvis whose son was born in Moss Bluff Marion County Florida on June 23, 1866

In the 1880 Census I found a Mary widowed with Children who were Mary, William, John, and another girl I couldn't recognize the name.

I talked to my grandmother in-law her father and mother were WIlliam and Zallie Pendarvis. She said she remembers her father had a brother named George, Henry, and Si (long I) don't know how it is supposed to be spelled. He also had a sister named Mary Porter. She couldn't remember who else there was at the top of her head. Zallie Pendarvis is supposed to have died in Oxford Sumter County Florida. There were also some Pendarvis's living nearby who were not immediately related to her, that she knows of. William Pendarvis is buried at Mt Zion Cemetary in Pasco County Florida. His grave is unmarked and a fire destoyed the papers that showed where he was buried.

I have yet to determine if the 1880 census I found is the William Pendarvis that I am tracking. I have only just started researching this line.

If you want to work together on the Sumpter County Pendarvis's let me know. I live over in Hernando County which is next door.
