Lynn, when I went to the court house in Bushnell I made copies of several marriage certifictes. I have them and will make copies for you if you want them. I don't remember them off hand but I posted them on this forum. While in the court house I read some probate records of Pendarvis' but don't remember who.
My time in researching is very limited because of my job, I went to the court house in Bushnell one day after I got off work early because of rain and discovered these records. I was working on a project in that city and by sheer luck discovered the house that Dad and his mother and his two older sisters lived in for a while. That property and house is now owned by a lawyer whose family bought it from the Pendarvis family back in the 1940's.
I have the information that you talked about in your last reply. Nancy's son John is the John Henry that is Dad's father. John Henry was born about 1870 in Moss Bluff and died when Dad was just a year old in 1926. John Henry is buried in the Floral City Cemetery as is his wife Josephine (Barnett) Pendarvis who died in October of 1931. I do not know who the parents of Josephine or Nancy are.
Thanks for the offer of working together but becuse of my work I don't see how I can be much help to you. Anything I find though I will glady share with you. Please send me your mailing address and I will send you copies of these marriage certificates. Take care, Brandon
