I am also interested in the Pendarvis family possibly connected to the Boseman(Bozeman) family who came from Darlington County, South Carolina. James Hamilton Bozeman(Boseman) was living with his wife Emily in Darlington County in 1850 but the parents cannot be found after that. They were the parents of 7 children including Bethina Bozeman(Boseman) who I believe later shows up in Marion and Sumter County, Florida married to William Driggers under the name Thaney Boseman. After his death she married Joseph Robert Fort. One of the sisters-Catherine-was living with a Rachel Pendarvis in 1860 in Wayne County, Georgia. The other sisters with the exception of Julia Ann were living with various families in Georgia in 1860. I have been told that the girls were orphaned. Another connection with the Pendarvis name is Beulah Cemetery in Orange County, Florida. Some of Bethina Boseman's descendants settled in Orange County I wonder if the Pendarvis's buried in the cemetery were related to Rachel Pendarvis and the other Pendarvis family in South Carolina. Buried in the Beulah Cemetery are Cyrus Pendarvis, born 7-9-1856 and wife Lucinda Pendarvis, born 9-28-1849 along with William J. Pendarvis, born 5-24-1886.
