Joseph Pendarvis may not have been a "landgrave" but he managed to acquire quite a bit of property before he died at a young age, and he was in fact rather wealthy...He managed to leave money, plantations and good educations to all 7 of his children. All the information on the PBS site is not totally inaccurate, is it? The use of the word landgrave seems to be the most serious error. (Is this correct?) Please let me know.

Thanks,
Connie
