Barron Pendergrast Doyle line

Have a document which says:

"This is to certify that VIRGINIA BARRON PENDERGRAST DOYLE has been duly elected a member of the Virginia Society of the Colonial Dames of America in right of her ancestor WILLIAM ARMISTEAD __1716...Dated May 9th 1907; No. 907 Tiffany & Co." (Note, the cocument has an "R" in the surname.)

Can not find this chapter of Colonial Dames. Contacted their headquarters and they were not interested. I have a long line of BARRON ancestors but want to find out how Virginia is related. Have tried to find out via the Armistead link. I'm a MA to NJ Barron descendant.

Folks have sent data on "southern" Barron line connection to Pendergrast/Pendergast and some on a Wm. Armistead. To date, nothing has answered the question.

Any one know who she is and how her line is connected to the Woodbridge, NJ Barron's?

Thanks,
Brooke
