We cannot go by the way "Pendergrass" is spelled.On her marriage license, alone, it is spelled
three different ways (Pendegrass, Pendrgrass, Penegrass).On her death certificate it is spelled
"Pendegreat".My family have always spelled it "Pendergrass" (not to say that it is the right
way).Any leads as to her parents or siblings would be appreciated.Here is the documented

Kaufman Co., Texas.
Information for the death certificate was given by her husband , Jim Kines (It is said that they
married ABT. 1911).The only information that Mr. Kines gave on her family or past was that
her father was a "Pendegreat".
