Name Spellings??????????
Boy that is a big Question. Let me give you a little bit of my family tree.
I am a Pendergraph, My father Robert Elvis was a Pendergraph, His father Wilson Elvis, in the middle of his life changed the spelling of his name.He died a Pendergraph But was born a Pendergraft. He had two sets of children. The first set are Pendergraft the second set are Pendergraph. His father was James Monroe Pendergrass, His father was Rufus Thompson Pendergrass and if you go bact to 1665 it goes to Pendergrast then to James Prendergast who came to America in 1668.
So the name has changed through the years.
