I read that the Mortality Schedule for the 1860 Census lists the people that died in the preceding year. If that is the case, then Moses Pendergraft died in November 1859. It says he died of palsy in McDonald County, Missouri in November. It says he was age 66 and born in NC. Since Moses was born in 1793, then 66 years later would be 1859. In Allen Pendergraft's book, on page 24 he has 1793-1869. He also gives a different date on page 45. He has a date of Nov. 9, 1850 taken from J.G. Pendergraft's bible. Could it be possible that the last digit was not legible and mistaken for a zero?
