This info (and more which I didn't copy) is in Truman C. White's "Descriptive Work on Erie County NY", pub. 1898
Augustus B. FERRAND b. Cheektowaga 09 Mar 1859, son of George and Elizabeth Sugnet Ferrand (who came from Sochaux France in 1828) m. Miss Susie PENFOLD, 13 May 1895, dau. of Samuel and Ann GOOD Penfold. Daughter Elsie Margaret Penfold b. 24 Feb 1897.
I wonder if I left something out here, because it seems her name should be Ferrand, but my notes say Penfold... you might check this reference for an English place-name mention in the part I didn't record.
