hi Judy. I'm looking for Penfolds in Canada. My greatgrandfather was John Hugh Penfold who was married to Mary Ann (Nan) Drew. They only had two known children. My grandmother Fannie(Frances) Penfold Coffey and John Penfold (who, to the best of my knowledge, only had 2: Geoffrey a priest and Elizabeth who never married). My grandfather would have died in the late 1860' or early 1870's. He. likewise.worked for the railroad in Canada.

I know is is a long shot, but your listing is the first time I've seen a John Penfold or any railroad affiliation. I've noticed that many family occupations run along the same lines.

My daughter decided to get into the geneology so she can pass the family history on to her children.

Any help you can give will be appreciated. Thanks a lot Mary
