Hello Bob,

I have some details of possibly some of their children who were living at Nutgrove when they died.
I received these details from the cemetery at St.Helens when I was looking for my grandfather, but none of these was mine.

Grave Number 471 in Section 2.

In 1871 census James and Sarah both aged 26, are living at 3, Court Duke Street.
James was a Coalminer. Their children were George 6, Abigal 4 , Joseph 2, and Francis E 1 month.

For 1861 there is only one James that is 16 years old, born in Hulme, Manchester. This doe's not agree with the above James.

I now have 2 more references to a James for 1861, one at 14 years and the other at 13 years.
If you would like the details for these three I can send them to you.
In the family of the 14 year old James there is the only George I can find aged 7 years who may be the one above.

I can also find James aged 4 in 1851. also I have the 1841 census for James's parents.

What are your thoughts, I hope that I have not repeated anything that Shelley may post to you.

Hoping to hear from you, I am adding my email address if you want to reply direct.

Regards,

Norm

P.S. If Shelley reads this thank you for setting the PENKETH name in the list.
