Still looking for a John PENKETH in St. Helens around 1796-1800.
I have a slight suspicion who he may be, if he turns out to be correct I will beable to go back to about 1730s.
Whether they are in St. Helens at that time I am not sure, the odd's are they will be in the South of Lancashire.
