hi merrill,

my name is gary woollett, i am from brisbane, australia, but now live in london,u.k. my great grandfather was thomas penman of dunfermline, scotland, he had a son who was my grandfather james logan penman 1910-1985, and 2 daughters, of which i dont know the names of,, but can get from my mum and her sister, james logan penman married his stepsister irene penman (1907 - 1976), in about 1931 i think, they had 4 kids, margaret, jimmy, mary (lived 8 days died of cot death), and then my mum marina, who was born in 1944, they lived in dunfermline, until about 1940 ish, and then moved to london, for 28 years, until 1965 when they moved to brisbane, australia. irene penman apparently as far as my mum knows wasnt a twin, but when irene penman died in 1976, they got a copy of her birth certificate or something like that, and it showed that there was a twin born with her, they never knew this all their life, so i am delving in the past in the hope to find out about that as well...

let me know if this helps you

gary
