Hi Gary
Not sure if I can help you here but I have a John Penman who married Christine(Christian) Miller in 1815, their daughter Christina born 1816 married James Logan see below,
I have not got any James Penman listed yet but have a lot still to reseacrh, if I come across anything in the future I will let you know has I have collected three years of emails regarding research messages sent to me I keep them all.
Regards
Mark

My James Logan married Christina Penman in 1840, their sons names are George born 1845 Fife, John born 1847 Fife, William born 1853 Fife, James born 1858 Fife.
Not sure here but George 1845 may have married Martha Gorman and their sons are James born 1868 Fife, John born 1873 Dumfermline Fife.
Not sure again but William 1853 may have married Elizabeth Hunter and their son was named James .L.Logan and was born at Dunfermline Fife, I have not tracked down the James born 1858 as yet, must look into soon
