Hi Gary
Have found that another line of my Penmans came to Australia they are William Penman and Catherine Lyon the arrived Brisbane in 1875, have found that a Agnes Penman a daughter married a Murphy, I think they lived in the Ipswich area, still working on this now, will let you know of anyother lines that I find, I am still thinking about your Penman who has the Logan name in the middle still could be something there yet.
