John Sommerville and Janet Penman had their lawful child a son born the 15th of May and baptised the 7th June next named James.(Newton is in Midlothian, Scotland)

John & Janet were married in 1822.

From the 1841 census I discovered:

Isabella b. ca. 1825
Richard b. ca. 1827
Martha b. ca. 1831

Looking to connect with anyone familiar with this family
