Iím also looking for Penmanís. I have only just discovered my paternal Great Grandmother was Susan Penman working from the 1891 cencus she would have been born about 1845 she married John Pettigrew and the family lived in Lanark Cambuslang Scotland. Their second son was named Archibald and in accordance to Scots tradition I think this might have been her fathers name. If any of this looks like it might tie in with your lot let me know.
