Searching for the names of Isaac Bliss's children. Isaac Bliss was the father of Phillip Paul Bliss born July 9, 1838 in Rome, Penn. When he was six years old the family moved to Trumbull City, Ohio, but then returned to Penn. While Phillip Paul Bliss was teaching at the Rome Penn. Academy he met and married Lucy Young. They ended up in Chicago, Ill where Phillip Paul Bliss was known as the famous gospel singer/hymn writer. He was killed on the Pacific Express train 1876 as it approached Astabula, Ohio in a snow storm. His wife Lucy and two sons: Phillip Paul Bliss age 1, and George age 4 stayed at home and were not on the train. What became of Lucy and her sons?
