Penns in Virginia and Native American linkage
Posted by: Mary Bowen (ID *****1527) Date: April 25, 2011 at 18:31:09

I am seeking information on the Penns from Virginia mentioned in the Persinger Family Journals which cover events from 1800-1912. According to the author some of her family married into the Penn family and some of the Penns had Native American blood. I am interested in finding out which tribe they may have been from and how it came into the line. The journals are located at http://files.usgwarchives.net/va/botetourt/history/other/persinge266gms.txt and the second journal is at http://files.usgwarchives.net/va/botetourt/history/1910/persinge/persinge7nms.txt
