I'm still trying to locate the Pennell side of my family. My gggrandmother was Elizabeth "Eliza" Pennell who was born on November 17, 1816 in Sharpsburg, Maryland. Her mother's name was Margaret and her father (name unknown) died approximately December 5, 1842 (based on family letters who only refer to his as the Old Man.) She married William H. Eakle and later moved to Shelby County, Missouri. From the family letters, she had the following siblings: David, John, Polly, Mary, Margaret, Joanna, Daniel, and James.

Can anyone help me? I'd sure appreciate it.
