I am Charles Clark, originally from Pittsville Maryland (Wicomico County). My grandmother was Lelia Jackson, of Friendship Road, Pittsville and my grandfather was a Pennewell, Lawrence from Pittsville. I am researching my ancestry as well.

Last summer, we were in Wales and drove through Penwyl, Wales (sometimes spelled Penwell).

In the churches in the area, there are several Penuel, Peniel, and Penual last names.

There were also a lot Penwell's in the York, UK area cemetaries.

Jacksons are plentiful in York area as well.
