Hi Richard
My name is Robert Andrew Coutts. I have been looking up my wife's family history on her great grandmothers side of the family.
Her great grandmother was Belinda Maria Coghlan. Belinda married twice, her second husband was George frederick Lockley, my wife's great grandfather.
Her first Husband was JOHN EALES PENNEY, son of Edward Penney and Prudence Elizabeth Eales Saunders. Sounds like the same family as yours.
John E Penney was born in Mangonui, New Zealand and married Belinda on 11/10/1876.
A daughter from Belinda's second marriage, Ethel Blanche Lockley married George Hamilton Metcalfe, the grandparents of my wife whose name by the way is Janet (Jan) Irene Coutts nee Metcalfe.
The lockley information I have recieved from a cousin of Jan's in Australia.
Robert A Coutts (Wellington, New Zealand)
