Penney Family in Ontario

Hi,

This is the first posting for me. My Great-great grandfather William Penney/Penny immigrated to Canada from Somerset, England in 1863, with my great-grandfather Charles. William's first wife was Elizabeth. It would seem that he married a second time to Priscilla, and they had Arthur, Mary Jane, George and Edith.

He apparently settled in Orangeville, Ontario, and he worked for the Grand Trunk Railway.

I am trying to locate exactly where he came from in Somerset, or if he actually landed in the United States first, and then emmigrated to Canada.
