Hi Christine,
I have some info that you might be looking for. You might already have this but oh well.
Mary Ann Killen died of heart disease at the age of 85 May 5,1937. She is buried in Gays River Cemetry. I have 3 sons listed for her:
John William Killen b. Oct. 9, 1884
Edward Ernest Killen b. Aug. 19,1888
Crosby Gordon Killen b. Aug. 9, 1894

Mary Ann's parents were William Talwell Penney and Charlotte Durnford, both born in England. They were married in Halifax County, September 18, 1845. Both fathers signed the marriage license and they were Henry Penney and Thomas Durnford. One of the witnesses was listed as Harriett Penney. Hope this helps. I have just started to look into my Penney roots. Good Luck.
