I don't know if this will help or not, but some time ago I talked with Franklin Pentecost of Mercer, Tenn who said a long time ago the Pentecosts Scarborough and Possibly William Franklin lived in "Hatchie Bottom" and could be buried there. He didn't know what churches were there, but recalled the name as a place associated with the Pentecost family. Once when I talked about going there, and maybe looking for the graves and churches in the area, someone acquainted with the area warned me to be careful of the snakes in that...apparently it is pretty swampy and the snakes are plentiful. Just wanted somebody to know this information. William Franklin Pentecost of Madison Co., Tenn. was brother to my ancestor Nathan Weathers Pentecost of Carroll and Montgomery Co's Miss.
