Hi Martha,
It's been a while since I heard from you!

I visited the southern half of Madison Co. TN in August of
2000, and sought out all the cemeteries I could find in the
area. Shady Grove, where Wm F. and Sarah are buried as well
as Mercer, Hays Chapel and a few others. On a map of the area there is a creek named Pennycost that I'm sure was
named for our ancestors. It looked as though the road by
Shady Grove had been widened and perhaps some graves "lost"
in the process. I had hoped to find the grave of Wm F.'s oldest daughter, Margaret. I'd like to know what happened to her.
