I don't have death dates for either of these women. I feel Inez is most likely buried next to her husband, but the double marker doesn't have her death date on it. Don't know if the Lee Funeral home in Carrollton, MS would still have a record or not.
Have not been able to find graves for the Scruggs family.
Unfortunately many of the old gravesites were swallowed up
either by encroaching civilization or land being allowed to
return to woods in the South. And of course there is always
the vandals the go in and wreck tombstones for fun all over the country. I keep hoping someone will come forward with a Scruggs Bible. But so far that hasn't happened.
