Hi Sharon,
In the course of researching a different family tree, the Pentony name came up and I researched it a little further hoping to find something of interest to me.
I have a copy of the 1901 and 1911 census forms for what I believe may be the family of the Julia Pentony you mention.

The address given for the 1901 census is St.Mary’s Cottages (Drogheda)

John Fairclough- head of house age 60- general labourer
Patrick Pentony- son-35-general labourer
Julia Pentony-daughter in law-34
Roseanne Pentony-granddaughter-13- scholar
Stephen Pentony- 10-scholar
John Pentony-7-scholar
Maggie Pentony –scholar-5
Henry Pentony – 4
Patrick Pentony -2

Note: I had hoped that Julia’s maiden name would be of help in my research and so obtained her marriage cert.
Her maiden name was ‘Fairclaw (sometimes spelt ‘Fairclough’)
Therefore the census form was filled out incorrectly as she was obviously a daughter rather than daughter in law and Patrick was a son in law rather than a son of the head of house.
They married on 21/07/85
Patrick was 21 and his address is ‘Killineer’ His dad (dead) was a labourer named Nicholas Pentony
Julia was 20 and her address was ‘Blackbull’. Her dad (alive) was a labourer named John Fairclaw.
Their witnesses were Philip Cummins and Mary Drew..

The 1911 address is Green Lane (Drogheda)
Note: The fact that there are age discrepanies between those stated in the census 1901 and what they should be in the 1911 census is quite common and not significant

Patrick Pentony –head of family- 48
Julia Pentony –wife – 46
Mary Bannon-Daughter- 24-linen weaver
John Pentony- Son -19 – general labourer
Maggie Pentony – Daughter- 15 – linen weaver
Henry Pentony- 14- scholar
Patrick Pentony- daughter- 11- scholar
Julia Pentony- daughter- 7- scholar
Michael Pentony- Son- 5- scholar

Hope this is of interest to you!
