Nice to find someone who is interested in the Pentony family. My gt-grandfather was William Pentony - from Rathnally (the estate, I guess), Co. Meath, nr. Trim, Ireland. He had a older brother John and younger sister Mary (not very imaginative!). I have the following from the Trim Parish Register (Record taken from Catholic Church of Trim Parish Register, 1829-1880. Available from LDS on microfilm):
July 1, 1836 Mathew Pentony to Margt. Brenan, wit. Chas. & Judith Brenan
Nov 24, 1833 Rose Brenan -- Rath Nally
Feb 12, 1834 Margaret Brenan -- Trim
Mar 16, 1838 Mary Brenan -- Rathnally
Nov 09, 1838 John Pentony -- Rathnally
I hope this helps you some; I have some dates. Possibly Matthew was a son of John.
John Havens
