Obituary for Arhtur Pepin b. 1859 Canada d. 1923 MA.
In the Easthampton News Dec. 1923:
Arthur Pepin Sr., was found dead last Friday night on Mt. Tom, where he had been chopping wood for Clinton Burt.
When he did not come home at the usual time, a search was made for him and his body was found. He had died from heart disease. Arthur Pepin Sr., was born in St. Dominic, Canada, in 1858, and came to this town 45 years ago. Besides his widow he leaves five children, Mrs. Rose Clough and Harry Pepin of Springfield, Alice, Victor and Arthur, Jr., town tax collector, who lives in Easthampton. Mr. Pepin was one of our oldes and most respected French residents. He was a stone mason by trade and has worked on many of our substantial
buildings. He had a great many friends, who will be much grieved at his death. The funeral was held at the Church of Notre Dame Monday at 9 o'clock with burial in St. Bridget's cemetery
