Frank Hillmon Peppers Phil Campbell, AL

I came across this website yesterday and found this very interesting. My father past away in 1998 and now I wish I had written down some of the things he had told me. Looking at this site, I think I can trace his family back pretty far but I need your help. This what I know for sure:

My father is Leborn Peppers b. 1925, his father was Frank Hillmon Peppers b. 1898, mother Angeline Peppers b.1898. My father had a brother that passed away at a young age, his name was Curtis, he also had a brother named Hubert and a sister named Murtle. My father grew up in northern Alambama, I believe it was in or close to Phil Campbell. I know his father came from a large family, around 12 children. I remember a couple of my grandfathers brothers names being Virgil and Manley. Looking at this site it seems my grandfathers father could be James Merida Peppers, but I'm not sure. I also remember my father talking about having Cherokee Indian blood in his family, but I am not sure if this was on his mothers or fathers side.

Any help would be wonderful.
