I will be glad to share info with anyone. I need to find the connection between the Peppers and the Wilson's and Derryberry's.
My 3x's great-grandmother was Clarissa H. Derryberry Wilson born 1 Nov 1828, Henderson Co., TN, married 3 Oct 1845, in Henderson Co., TN, Nathan Cecil Wilson, born 10 Jan 1824, Wilson Co., TN, (son of Archibald Wilson and Cynthia Johnson) died 3 Aug 1877, buried: Liberty Cem., Caruth, Dunklin Co., MO. Clarissa died 9 Sep 1902, buried: Liberty Cem., Caruth, Dunklin Co., MO.
(1) William Henderson Wilson born 23 Jul 1846, Henderson Co., TN, married Lucy Jane Arnold, born about 1844, KY. William died 22 Oct 1884. There are 7 other children which I have not listed here. My ggrandfather was Isaac Cecil Wilson, son of Henderson and Jane, born in Henderson, TN. The family (Nathan, Clarissa and children and William Henderson and his wife and children) moved to Dunklin County MO in 1876. What made them leave Tennessee? Nathan died soon after the move.
Lucy Jane died approx. 1879-1880. After (William) Henderson died, the younger children are found living in the PEPPERS household in Dunklin county with several Wilson's and Derryberry's in the neighborhood. How were the Peppers' related and what happened to Henderson? Clarissa lived with her son Tom and raised her illigitimate grand-son, Silas O. Wilson (son of Mary J.L. Wilson).
