I would wonder why the modern generation would want to disrupt the history as it was.

I am looking for a descendant of mine who was an Indian. Rumors have it that she was a full-blooded American Indian but at this point could only prove maybe 50% at best.

In a book of the Corbin Family, there are references to the Pequot Indians. I would wonder how much of this would be true if you can not view who she was from birth until her marriage to a Hezekiah Corbin in 1847. Never mind the fact, that no parents were ever listed in any legal records.

Is there any place in records to be able to locate who her parents may have been as well as her birth name?

Please email me directly with any further references to:

burtoncorbin@hotmail.com

I hope to hear from you in the near future.

Brenda
