The Peraza family is a relatively small family in CR, with every member sharing the same origin.

The family began with Santiago Peraza a spanish inmigrant who settled in the Puriscal area... So yes, there are 4 generations in CR, which makes them a rather new family. A curious sidenote is that you are probably linked to some venezuelan families as the story goes with two brothers Santiago the one who settled in CR and the other wich name I don't recall who decided to go far south...

The main difference with Perazas and other costa rican families is that you can be sure your family has humble origins as Santiago Peraza was poor when he arrived to costa rican lands from Valencia. From that point before I cannot tell you more, although the family has a bloodthirst reputation in Islas Canarias from a distant past... but that is really distant

I hope this info helps you...
Kind Regards
