The first Earl was called John born 22 July 1683, the seconed was called John-James born 23 January 1738.
Please look up on Genforum Under PERCIVAL my reply to a subscriber in respect of Spencer Percival a Prime Minister assinated 1812 in the English house of Commons and how he was descended from the Earls of Egmont, here I explain why the spelling is PERCEVAL and not Percival, also the Irish connection and where the Percevals lived in Ireland.
I draw this to your attention because you mention GRENANE,in the Great Earls town Kanturk Co Cork not only is there a Perceval Street(the longest road in the town) but also a Grenane Upper and a Grenane Lower.
It could well be that the Family is connected.
