Thank for responding. I am grateful fot your help, although this confuses me a bit. Are you familiar with the James Percival (b. 1630 England) family tree, I used by Anne Kruszka, et al?

According to this source, Ebenezer b. 5/30/1731 m.11/13/49 Lucy Knowlton b.3/6/1733. They had the following children:
James 1749
Steven 1752
Elizabeth 1753
Jeremiah 1754
Lucy 1756
Mary 1757
Olive 1759
Azel 1761
Ann 1762
Ebenezer 1764
Roswell 1766

Again according to this tree, the eldest son, James b. 1749, married Eunice Curtis. You're saying the folks who made this tree must have made a typo of sorts. I suppose it's possible and what you're saying makes sense. I'll forward it, or better yet, give you their e-mail addresses so they can fix what seems to be a fairly clear ommission in their tree.

Gene Percival ghperci@aol.com

BTW, where are you?
