I am searching for information about my great=grandfather: Peter Percival, born Nov. 6, 1823 in Lynchburg, VA, and worked at a funeral parlor in Montgomery, West Virginia, and Mary Elizabeth Arbaugh (?spelling), born Nov. 7, 1851. Their children were George Wallace Percival, born July 4, 1872; William H. Percival born Oct. 11, 1874; Mary Elizabeth (Mollie) Percival born Jan 24, 1876 married "Pud" Foster; Hattie M. Percival born Sept. 22, 1878; Effie Percival born Nov 21, 1880 married Tom Darlington; James William Percival born 1885, my grandfather, who worked in a coal mine in West Virginia prior to moving to Winston-Salem, NC; Annie Bell Percival born Sept 5, 1889 married John E. Brendle; Rebecca A. Percival born July 24, 1893; Eugene W. Percival born June 8, 1896 married Martha Stone.
