Hi, may I wander in here? I just stumbled upon this posting while doing a global search for Roswell Knowlton. The Lucy Knowlton you mentioned would be a sister of Roswell and daughter of Thomas Knowlton and Susannah Cone of East Haddam, Middlesex, CT. I've just been working on Roswell's (and thus Lucy's) ancestors with some other people--are you interested in this line? I'd be delighted to share what I have.

A descendant of Roswell was Roswell Knowlton Willson who removed to Lee, Oneida, NY from Belchertown, Hampshire, MA in very early 1800s. I'd be interested in exploring any Oneida links too.
