Sorry I haven't responded before now, but I didn't receive any notification of your message and just happen to find it when I responded to Cindy's.

Unfortunately, I have no information about Andrew Perceval other than what I posted. Thanks for the Blackwell name; I didn't have that. I do know that Andrew Percevall arrived here with his wife Essex, sons Andrew and James, and daughter Mary. So if he was married before, it had to have been in England. I'll have to do some research.

The information you give about Samuel is very interesting. Andrew's will says, "Item. I give to my Dear wife Essex Percivall & my Cosen Samuel Percivall all the money, goods & Chattels & Estate real & Personall I have in England . . ."

Was Samuel an only child?
