About the Arden connection: from Transactions of the Huguenot Society of South Carolina #77 in an article entitled "Wilkinson Descendants of the Second Landgrave Morton" by Slann Legare Clement Simmons page 124n: "Seabrook W. Valley [wrote in his book] The Anglican Churches of South Carolina: 1670-1753 [that] Francis Wilkinson married Margaret Arden, daughter of Edward Arden and Mary Percevall. Mary was the only daughter of Col. Andrew Percevall, cousin of the 1st Earl of Shaftesbury. Edward Arden came to the Province as agent for his brother-in-law, the younger Andrew Percevall"
